Teaching children things about other countries is certainly something that countries do not do enough of. Now this may be down to laziness but I think the real reason people just do not do it is because they do not know how too. These are a few ways in which you can help kids learn these things.
Theme Park
Yes, believe it or not, there is a theme park that teaches about culture? The theme park in question is located in Disney World, Orlando and is called EPCOT . The World Showcase is of course what I am talking about here and this can be found at the back of the park, past most of the rides and things like this.
The World Showcase is split into many countries and within each of these you can actually learn a lot about the culture of the place and kids can really learn a lot. The great thing about Disney is that they do things well enough to keep the adults interested but simple enough to help the kids understand.
Vacation
Okay so going on one of those Mexico holidays might not be the cheapest of ways to help children to learn but holidaysare arguably the best way of doing things because you get to see the culture yourself. The kids of course will enjoy this type of thing.
Books
One of the cheapest ways to do things when it comes to this is to buy books for the kids. It does the job well even if it is original.
In the end it is up to you when it comes to things like this Dubai holidays could be the way forward but then so could a book.
