There do seem to be a lot of video games out there that use water effects very well indeed. Here are some of the video games that use water to really push the game forward.
Hydrophobia
Although this game is not currently out as of yet it would still seem that it is going to be the most realistic game set underwater that we have ever seen. Of course as most games like this begin you are trapped on a ship and the ship begins to flood and you have to fight your way up. It does seem to me like there are going to be a lot of levels set underwater and it looks great. Although this video game was actually due out on all of the consoles it has since been announced as an Xbox only game.
Super Mario Sunshine
I could see the entire Mario franchise coming in for this one as there are levels set in water across all of the games but this is the one that showed of the stunning effects the most. Well firstly it would seem that main thing to mention is FLUDD who was of course the water nozzle that could talk and was there to assist Mario. The water effects truly were fantastic on this Mario game.
Bioshock 1 &2
These two games really do have some of the best water effects in a game and they have to really simply because the entire game is set in an underwater city. Although I have not had the chance to truly play the second edition as of yet it still looks to be fantastic.
So if you fancy your very own deep sea adventure why not go on one of those diving holidays and go shark diving. Of course Maldives diving is among the best for this kind of thing.
