The toys that are around nowadays are not the same as the ones parents were used to when they were young. No longer are children using things like Hornby trains but playing things like video games and action hero toys like Ben 10. These are just some of the toys that kids are used to playing now.
Video Games
To me it seems that this is the main kind of thing that kids use nowadays to have fun when they are not at school. So many people out there seem to have the opinion that computer games are out there for the young, this is complete rubbish. In fact it would seem that older generations are far more into gaming than they used to be but this may be because they see their kids playing them and just jump in and play them with them. If you have not spent time playing video games with your kids then you are seriously missing out on a bit of fun.
RC Models
Things like RC helicopters are still very popular among children nowadays and this is because the technology behind them has advanced along with the new people that are really interested in buying them. The same applies for things like RC tanks and all of the other remote control technology too. The reason for this is because the companies know people are still going to be interested in these products.
Other than these it would seem not much has actually changed over the years, various programmes have been released and toys have come out alongside it but when it comes to figures the technology behind it has not changed too much. One of the main things you must always consider is actually spending more time with your child.
