For many years I have been thinking about moving home, but in all honesty the thought of sorting the whole house and packing everything up fills me with dread.
It’s not as if we need extra room all the time. The kids are growing up now so we don’t need as much room for all their toys as it would seem the computer consoles have taken over. However for all family occasions, when the mob descend on us we could do with an extra room.
As the family gets older, it’s not just them who come around.Nowadays my nephews and nieces all have partners, so we are upto about 30 now when all the family come round.
Much as I love the family, squeezing us all into the dining room is getting absolutely ridiculous.A tin of sardines springs to mind when we are all squashed in together, and if you happen to be stuck in the corner and need to escape to the loo, you stand virtually no chance.
A simple solution to my problem is to get a conservatory.
Now as I live in the Surrey area, I thought the internet would be a great place to start my search. I put in a search for Edwardian Conservatories Surrey, Victorian Conservatories Surrey and even Surrey Conservatories.
I was absolutely flabbergasted by how many different companies are on the Internet. Where do you start and how do you ensure you choose the right company.
I think that this conservatory lark is going to be a bigger job than I imagined.Even though it’s not a great deal of money, I am going to be carrying out quite a bit of research as I want to make sure I get the best conservatory for my money. There are some absolutely beautiful designs available, but I don’t think you can go just by design alone. Some of the websites I researched had feedback submitted from previous customers and I think this is a great idea.
Well something I do know is that I am going to have to get a wriggle on and decide because the next big family event is only a few months away and I want everything to be sorted by then.
